A recent pilgrimage to Brú na Bóinne, Newgrange on the banks of the Boyne River, has deeply ignited a deeper remembrance of the Womb Wisdom Codes of this sacred Temple, Brú na Bóinne meaning Temple of the Goddess Boann or even more specifically ‘Womb of Boann’.
These are the Holy Grail Womb Codes of Éire that have existed here for millennia.
Brú na Boinne is a great swollen belly of the pregnant mother goddess. And as as you walk into this sacred earth temple it is clear that this is of course a womb temple holding many codes with those with the eyes to see & for the womb that is ready to be activated into the ancient womb mysteries.
Of course many of us remembering the ancient wisdom of this land know these codes about one of our most sacred sites here in Éire. However I still feel ALOT has to be fully remembered & reclaimed when it comes to the Womb Mysteries and honouring of the menstrual cycle.
For a womb to be healthy, fertile, swollen & full with not only the promise of new life but with all the creations we need to birth into the world at this sacred time on planet earth we as women have to fully come home to the magic & power of our wombs & menstrual cycle. Pausing when we bleed & allowing ourselves to fully die and to be reborn each and every month.
This is about conceiving & birthing life in the most sacred way that is rooted in deep sovereignty where
I have to say as a woman who is deeply devoted to my womb and it’s cyclical nature there is still very little reference point for this is the world and especially here in Ireland.
As I stood staring at this womb temple it became so clear, we simply cannot talk about the Divine Feminine and coming home to the Land and not talk about and deeply honour bleeding women and their cyclical nature.
For the womb to be pregnant with new life it mean’s that the woman also bleeds. Every. Single. Month. For anything up to 40 years of her life. And yet we are living in a world where women are truly not supported to honour their cycles and their bleeds. Over exerting ourselves, burning ourselves out again and again in a world that is not built around our clinical nature.
This womb temple of Brú na Bóinne was built by a culture that deeply knew and had a deep reverence for the Divine Feminine and the Womb Mysteries, an Honouring of the bleeding women and their cycles was revered above all else and I believe these are the codes of wisdom they were trying to remind us of.
At this prophesied time on earth where the return of the Divine Feminine is bringing balance & harmony back to the land and the people I feel we have still only scratched the surface at what it means to fully honour and embody the feminine both within ourselves and the world we live in.
As even in spiritual circles there seems to be still so much shame and distortion and absolute dishonouring of the female cycles.
Again as I stood outside Bru na Boanne recently I could hear the whispers of Boann getting louder now but yet so softy, ‘Come home to the womb mysteries now is the time’.
It is time to walk these lands, these sacred lands of many womb temples of the Goddess and truly ignite and remember what it really means to embody the feminine, its cyclical nature and cycles.
